Can I get a detailed topo map of a smaller area, like just a few acres?
Our primary map source is the U.S. Geological Survey, which produces the most detailed topographic maps that cover the entire U.S. These maps have good detail for most uses, but do not have the detail level to get a map of small areas (less than a few hundred acres).
That said, while our Premium Satellite photo maps lack contour lines, they can be reproduced down to a scale of 1:1,000 (1" = 83 ft.) which may provide sufficient detail in some applications.
Usually, the best way to get a highly detailed topo map (or photo map) of a small site and with a contour interval of less than 10-20ft is to hire a surveyor.
