Can I Write on My Waterproof Map?

Yes, we have seen amazing results from customers who have used Sharpie brand markers to write on their maps. Sharpies are great because they are available in many colors and tip thicknesses and they are made with waterproof inks. Highlighter pens can also be used.

If you need to erase, construction pencils, with thicker points, would be the safest option. When writing or erasing, just be careful not to break the surface of the map’s coating.
